Culturethèque Special: Prize-Winning Reads

September marks the start of the new school year, but not just for students. It is also the meeting place for readers and the season of literary prizes. The Prix Goncourt, the most prestigious, is awarded on the same day as the Prix Renaudot, often perceived as its counterpart. The Prix Femina, awarded by an all-female jury, celebrates an original voice, while the Prix Médicis rewards a foreign novel or essay. This is followed by the Prix Interallié, the Grand Prix du Roman de l'Académie française and the Prix Goncourt des Lycéens, which gives a voice to young readers.

Each autumn, these prizes honor the standout voices of the literary season.

Culturethèque offers a range of award-winning books, reading sheets, interviews with the author and podcasts presenting the writer and his book.
