This INTERMEDIATE level is for elementary-school aged children who have been exposed to the French language. Children will learn a range of vocabulary and language structures in French.

This class is designed for young learners who already understand French and want to practice using it more confidently in everyday situations.

Objectives:

  • Build confidence speaking French in a supportive environment.
  • Expand vocabulary related to everyday life and common situations.
  • Express personal opinions and justify ideas using appropriate language.
  • Read and understand short authentic texts and documents.
  • Write clear, well-organized short texts.
  • Compare French, Francophone, and American cultures through discussions and projects.
  • Complete a final project in French that demonstrates communication skills and cultural understanding.
