Join us for an hour long program on SEPT 15 at 6.00pm with Rebecca Bourgin, Deputy Consul, Head of chancellery at the Consulate
General of France in Miami. In the session Rebecca will cover her journey as a career professional in the Diplomacy. A lively interview
format, including Q&A with the audience, will be in English.
With two master’s degrees in law and 16 years’ experience in the private, associative and public sectors, Rebecca’s desire to make an impact and contribute to France’s influence on the international stage led her to the United Kingdom and various cities in France before beginning her diplomatic career in Serbia, continuing in the United States. Notably, she worked as a lawyer with organizations protecting the rights of undocumented immigrants held in detention centers and helping asylum seekers. In 2017, she was appointed Head of the Department of Consular Affairs, Administration and Human Resources at the French Embassy of Serbia in Belgrade. Since September 2021, Rebecca Bourgin serves as the Deputy Consul General at the Consulate General of France in Miami.
“PARCOURS DE FEMMES” is an original program offered by the Alliance Française Miami Metro since 2018, intended to
inspire young adults. It features role models who have succeeded in careers that may have previously been reserved to men.
