The Jacques Brion Scholarship Learn to Teach
This scholarship supports teachers seeking accreditation to teach French as a Foreign Language (FLE).
Eligible Applicants Must:
- Be a teacher* whose academic goals require proficiency in French, or

Be a passionate Francophile who embraces the #livefrench #lovefrench #learnfrench lifestyle and has a clear project to
teach francophone culture.
*Priority will be given to teachers of AFMM classes, extended to the Miami bilingual schools (homologuées or LabelFrancÉducation)
Selection Criteria:
The AFMM Scholarship Committee will consider financial need, academic merit, and alignment between the applicant’s career goal and the
study of French language.
Funding Details:
- Scholarship funds may cover full or partial tuition.
- No direct cash awards will be issued to recipients.

Payments will be made directly to cover eligible costs, including registration fees, course enrollment, textbooks, or approved project
expenses.

achieve their objectives and contribute to the community.

- A letter of recommendation from faculty.
